March 7th, 2016-Peyton Manning retires from the NFL

5-time MVP, Peyton Manning announced his retirement from the NFL after an 18 year career. Manning is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play.

Manning spent 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and 4 seasons with the Denver Broncos, where he won one Super Bowl each. He appeared in 3 Super Bowls total, winning Super Bowl MVP with the Colts, suffering a devastating 43-8 loss to the Seahawks, and winning a second Super Bowl in spite of an underwhelming performance in Super Bowl 50. He has the most MVPs of any player in NFL history and previously held the touchdown passes record before it was broken by Brees and then Tom Brady.

Dylan Miller is currently a Senior at Colonia High School. He enjoys participating in sports, earning varsity letters in cross country, winter track and spring track. In addition to participating in sports, Miller also follows the NFL, NBA and MLB. Scouting is a large part of Miller’s extracurricular activities as an Eagle Scout. At this level he will learn more about leadership and communication, which Miller is eager to add to his skill set as he prepares for college. When he’s not busy in school or running, he enjoys watching TV shows like Ted Lasso. He also likes listening to sports analysts Colin Cowherd, Jim Rome or Dan Patrick. He aspires to work in the sports field and run track in college.
